We’re so happy to share our passion for martial arts with you. For some, our Gresham Martial Arts school might just seem like a place to get fit and learn self-defense... but to us it’s so much more.

Challenge yourself, change your life! As you dig in and put your efforts into learning all of the crazy-cool striking drills, self-defense techniques, and showing up for cardio training you’ll realize you CAN smash your fitness goals.

Wow, what a big boost in confidence this brings! We see it on all of the new students faces within just a couple weeks. Believe it or not, a lot of it comes from the positive class atmosphere and socialization.

You’ll swell with pride as your classmates and instructors cheer you on. High fives will fly high as you progress through training and continue to give your all in class. Our classes are a blast and based on functional fitness. We use positive reinforcement and high fives instead of military style yelling and endless hours on a treadmill.

This means that each of our classes is loaded with challenging, fun exercises designed to enhance your self-defense skills. Dynamic striking, high intensity intervals of cardio training, and movements that mimic how the human body should move are our focus.

Don’t worry if you feel as though you won’t be able to keep up. We work with all levels from total beginner to pro athlete. And you know what...they all sweat the same at the end of our workouts!

Oh boy, your family is about to grow...big time! We're a tight-knit group here and our students are all about support and friendship. As you struggle through tough training times, and laugh through wins and victories, you’ll have your martial arts family at your back.

Friendship, motivation, and high fives are a part of every class. As you train together, you and your classmates will form an amazing bond. It's truly great to experience.

#5Breakup with Boredom, Have FUN!

Stuck in a fitness rut or tired of hitting up bootcamp style classes just to be yelled at on your personal time? Ugh, who can blame you...luckily our classes are NOTHING like that. Action-packed and totally fun, focused on your success, and always changing. No two workouts are the same and we use positive motivation.

No military style yelling or body shaming, ever.

Both kids and adults both work hard, but also play hard too. Laughing, smiles, and high fives are part of every class.

Both men and women in our community come to these adult martial arts classes for lots of reasons. Some have encountered dangerous situations where they felt hopeless. They wanted to gain the skills and techniques required for safety and protection. Most of all, they wanted to no longer feel helpless. Others want fitness.

Let your kid feel like a total rock star with our awesome kids birthday package. It's a fun, educational, structured birthday party involving martial arts... crazy-cool fun & games... and more. Plus your kid will be the one-and-only star of the show!

They'll help teach martial arts to their friends... cut the birthday cake with a real sword (carefully supervised of course!)... and break a wooden board with just their hands or feet (if they've reached this level in their training). Our Gresham Therapeutic Martial Arts program for seniors takes traditional martial arts training, and customizes it for reduced impact on joints and muscle groups. The result is a fun, energize, invigorating workout - from head to toe.

And there are numerous health benefits too. Cardiovascular exercise and strength training have been shown to increase mental clarity, aid the immune system, and prevent injuries.
